water changes are almost always the answer no matter what the problem.

Sometimes popeye can be caused by accidentally scratching an eye on rock, sand, etc. Stable water parameters and a healthy diet usually heal this up fairly quickly.

If your sixline eats prepared foods soaking them in vitamins (selco, vita-chem) and adding extra HUFAs (Selcon) helps speed the recovery time

I'd have to ask how would or could a bubble cause the pop eye problem ? I had never heard that one before I have heard it said they can irritate corals and to killing clams and sponges to Linkia stars I would only guess the person who came up with that one has never dove a reef :) I would do as In wall mentioned and if not better in 3 days or you see any white clouding of the eye treat it with a antibiotic . or just leave it be.

Most fish diseases can be overcome by a healthy fish. Medication should be a last resort.

medication is a last resort for myself as well so they can eventually deal with it and hopefully overcome it.in the wild they dont have someone medicating them lol
