well one very odd thing has happened in our tank that holds our infamous "schackmel blinding paly's" is we had a piece of blue/rainbow sympodium in there. Not sure how.........but the sympodium has turned in the last couple days the most gorgous colored neon teal colored. I have never seen a coral this color before. Only thing we can think of is it responded to the palytoxin and partially bleached and then picked up some of the zooxanthellae but whatever it is now my most favorite coral.

sorry for the bad picture........dont have my good camera only cell phone right now

Ahh those are the infamous paly's?? Mine look just like that, but will be going back to the LFS next trip:(

Those are really cool looking, doubt the pain was worth it, but I'd call that the ultimate stretch for a silver lining(well, besides besoming a pirate before halloween);)

I don't know why they do it, wish I did because it's a let down when they turn back to being brown and green. Mine are just starting to turn teal again after being brown all spring and summer.

Sweet,i just got a hunk of blue/green sympodium a couple weeks ago that I am dying to see how they look under my led's in the new tank (still waiting on the cycle) vs. my old oddysea t5's.If mine color up even half that, they will be awesome.Very nice!
