It very well could be. I didn't get a very good look at it but it was either one of the two. I am setting the trap up tomorrow after work hopefully with success.

 

If nothing else it will let you get a good look at it!

 

I've added the rest of my premium Fiji liverock, it was delivered just before I was to leave for work so the aquascaping was left till later that evening.



I'm not sure if I want to keep this aquascape ill have to keep looking at it. I've also installed my biocube protein skimmer which seems to be working but ill give it time.

 

I have gotten closer to the aquascape I'm satisfied with. I think ill make it alittle bit more open but for now it will suffice. I'm trying to go for a cove feel to it so maybe ill take the rock angled up from the right and lay it down.



I've tested the Metal Halides my HQI came with, turns out even after using a known working bulb it still doesn't work. The company is sending me a new fixture, I'm just glad the tank doesn't need a light during the cycle so my cheap LED I bought for the moonlight is doing enough.

 

I picked up a new Powerhead from my store today. Its a Sicce Voyager 2. Not only is it extremely silent but it puts out over 800 GPH which is mind blowing for how smooth it is. My maxijet that was moving my sand up the glass walls is only 295 GPH, while Voyager just gives out the current. I am very happy with this purchase.

I also bought a bag of Chemipure Elite, I've never used this type of item so I'm both excited and nervous at what it might do.

I'm kind of disappointed on the Premium Fiji live rock from Liveaquaria. To me its the same as the Standard Fiji, No hitchhikers and very small amount of algae. It'll get the job done just as well but I think ill buy standard from now on.

My replacement halides should come in the mail here by Monday or Tuesday so ill report back with how that turns out.

 

Chemipure Elite is good stuff, I have always used it and liked it, even though many think it does not have enough GFO to make a difference. In a newly set up tank you will not even notice it.

Hope your light makes it soon, that has to be a tad frustrating.

 

A bit but it hasn't been as bad as it could. It helps that I occasionally work with the company. How often do you replace the Chemipure?

 

I typically replace every 6 week, but I have a tiny bio-load. Currently I am not any type of charcoal.

 

It's amazing how quickly and effectively the Chemipure Elite took hold on my aquarium. Even without my lights my water is crystal clear. I highly recommend this product.
