T-5 bulb help

I am currently running uvls aquasun 10k (2) and uvl actininics (2). need to replace bulbs Im looking at 1 actinic plus powerchrome
1 pure actinic powerchrome
2 12k aqua blue special.


is this a good combo for my 4 bulb fixture? Good for my corals?

 

I think it's good. As for corals it depends what you want to keep. What size tank?

 

90 gallon tank. some lps,sps. all of my coral is growing great. but i am using two 10k bulbs and two actinic bulbs. will the 12k bulbs be better or should i stay with the 10k bulbs

 

If it is working and you like the looks why change?

when I ran my 4-bulb TEK Elite, I got great growth out of these bulbs, in this order (front to back):

ATI Blue +
ATI AquaBlue Special
ATI Purple Plus (I had a KZ Fiji Purple but the Purple Plus are better I hear)
ATI Blue + (or AquaBlue Special)

I swapped the #2 & #3 bulbs sometimes for a different spectrum.

 

the uvl bulbs i currently use are the aquasun. they are a little more yellow than i would like. mojo, i use my two actinics for dusk dawn bedore the 10ks come on, can i also do that with the setup you listed

 

i was looking at the giesemann bulbs, i have heard they are good

 

i would go with 1 ati aquablue, 2 ati blue plus(or maybe 1 blue plus and 1 purple plus), and one actinic of your choosing

 

I agree with MoJoe, that is exactly the combo I used to run. If you want to do a dusk to dawn thing just use the two blue+ to come on first. I think the pure actinics are just a waste of a bulb especially when it is only a 4 bulb fixture. The blue+ gives you the same look but muuuch better par so better growth.
