And NO i didnt use tapwater lol i used highly purified/filterd/distilled drinking water
bottles and bottles of EVIAN..... took me soo long....

hehe jk again i had to do it,
i used the culligan 18.5L jugs im not 100% sure on exactly how they filter/dechlorinate/demineralize it but it seems to work great, i tested my levels again today and i swear i can put fish in now....maybe

and im going to be adding more live rock soon enough, soon enough after my next paychek lol this is all breaking my bank

im proably going to get about 15-20lbs more live rock depending on the layout im figuring out i still havent got it and need to see what it will need.

so that will be around 55-60 lbs of live rock then... i know it should be around 1.5 lbs per gallon but im not going for a huge reef i still want some cooler fish in there as well so they need some room to swim right?

here are some more pics of the stand,

as you can see the concrete blocks are 1ft by 1 so the chance of tipping over is slim its not tall enough for that,

and teh weight of the blocks each about 18 lbs is enough to keep em from moving much, then theres the weight of the sand and rocks in the tank that still keeps the center of gravity pretty low

i can shake it and wobble it and trust me its sturdy, i wouldnt put somthing i put soo much money and effort into on somting i think may fall over and ruin everything .....

    would you?

    PICS UP IN 5 MIN!!!!

The stand is fine. Youd be suprised at how strong blocks like that are. His stand is strong and stable enough to hold a truck.
The only thing I would do is get the rest of your LR and be done with it. Considering how young the tank is, your basically re-starting the cycle everytime you add more. More sand would be wise as well. Finish off with the Koralia's you wanted, and your set to sit back and watch a single damsel and algae blooms for 8 weeks ;)

Looks really nice I would suggest getting rid of the airstones though, you are gonna have salt creep all over the place. Everytime those bubbles pop at the surface salt spray is going all over eventually you are gonna see it as a problem. I like the stand very contemporary.

I have first hand experience with this for sure!!! We had bubbles and it was a big mess after a few days.. I was always cleaning around the bubble areas... They get every ware:-/... Your tank is looking really good;D!!! cant wait to see more stuff in it... Im with ya when you say its braking the bank..lol...;) Thats why we only have 2 pieces of coral (cheep coral) thus far and our tank is almost 7months old... besides its good to go slow.. ::)
