My LED's are done after one month. Now I gotta deal with warranty crap. I don't know if I'd go that route. Perhaps cancel the order if you can.

its a retrofit kit. put inside your own hood. endcaps, wiring and ballast. I dont want to hijack this thread for myself. its listed in the for sale threads. look for the Ice cap 660.

that said, the clowns and other items dont really need teh lights much. they are just more pleasing to our eyes. now if you have coral, you should be ok for a few days.

I have the AquaticLife 30". Apparently the 30" needs a fan for cooling because the LED's clearly have gotten too hot. They didn't all quit at once. One at a time for about a week. Pretty sure I'll be returning it if I can.

I use the 30" Aquatic Life four bulb T5 also. I had it for about three weeks and all the led's burnt out. I called the company and they mailed me new led's for my unit within a week. They were simple to replace just unplug old ones and plug in new ones. I told the head guy there about the led's burning out and it sounded like that is or was a common problem with the lights. Apparently the ones he sent me are much better than the original one because they have been working for past seven to eight months with no problems. And they were sent to me for free. This is a very good, high quality light so don't not get it just because of the leds. I'm sure if they burn out they will replace them for you. Absolutely no other problems with the light. I love it.

I ordered the 48" Aquatic Life four bulb T5 with leds and timer built in :)
if leds burn out its got a 12 month warranty, so it seems to be a good price for what u get.
