Im trying to figure out what the best arrangement is to get the proper color. The way i have it arranged now is too blue on the front glass.

I tested it without the halides though. The halides go in the two square holes that you see in the canopy. My metal halides are 14000K 250W.

The UVL super actinic is not as blue as the ATI blue plus. These bulbs were recommended by the reefgeek guy.

I could move the Aquasun 10000k to the back but the corals wouldnt be able to get enough light.

I just want a light blue look to the tank. How would you guys arrange these bulbs to get the right look and balance?

    Thanks.

I think it's more about what bulbs have then what arrangement they are in. If you want a real blue look, I would use four actinic bulbs, not 3 and a daylight bulb.

Im no expert but that looks fine to me. I have my blue+'s on the outside as well. You would need the Mh's on to really adjust it though. (maybe when the halides are on you like it)

you may get less blue look if you switch the first actinic and a daylight. so the daylight would come first then you actinic. i might not even make a difference. you need to switch up the bulb otherwise

need to wait untill M/H are in. then rearrange them to your likeing and, if still to blue then it is more about what lamps you have

I know that, my point was that it may not matter the arrangment. To get the color you want you may need to change the bulbs to a different temperature, not rearrange them.
