I've seen a couple of threads inquiring the order the bulbs are placed in front to back. I have a 6 bulb T5 fixture that I've recently replaced the bulbs in. Can someone tell me the optimal placement front to back, and why this is important?
    My new bulbs are.
    3 Giesemann Actinic plus
    1 Giesemann Midday
    1 ATI Aquablue Special
    1 KZ Fiji Purple

    Thanks in advance

split the 3 actinic plus with 1 bulb each would be my suggestion. Starting with the ap,md,ap,as,ap,fp.

Thanks salt4me. Thats how the fixture was set up when I bought it, so that is one option.
Anybody else have an opinion on this?

I would go ap, as, fp, as, md, ap this will give a slightly bluer look than the previous suggest and will allow the fp to provide better coloration to the corals it will help.

Thank you 2in10. I'll try that order and see how it looks.
