T5 Bulb Combinations w/ Pictures

Well, here's one combo that I was going to use, but have since decided it was too blue. The colors just didn't look right. I did this combo, but thought it was too pink hued (it's hard to tell from the pictures)

The combo is from front to back

ATI B+
UVL AW
UVL SA
UVL AS
ATI B+
UVL SA

 

Ok, one more change. I now have the following combo, and wills stick with it for now at least. All of my pics were with the same wb, so you can at least see the relative differences between them.

Front to back
ATI Blue +
UVL AW
ATI Blue +
ATI Blue +
UVL Aqua Sun
UVL SA

 

Both look nice to me and I really like the bluer look.
Do you think you might be getting extra blue from your tank backing? Mine is black/blue double sided and I defo prefer black.
What do you think of the ATI B+ and UVL SA together as your dusk/dawn light? Isn't it so sweet!!!!! I like the B+ front and the SA back.

 

I like this set up. Wonder how I would get close to this with four bulbs? prob not possible. and ur right ur colors do pop.

 

I think this looks best as far as what I have seen. doesnt look to blue in the pic. Which is what I like.

 

4 bulbs I'd go ATI Blue+, ATI Aquablue, UVL Super Actinic, KZ Fiji Purple. Or 2 KZFP's, that would make some nice colors and good PAR.

How blue is ur tank in person. I like the looks of you and gmans tank. however although they both look whiteish in the pictures im assuming his is more blue because thats what he likes.. im looking for a crisp white with a tint of purple sparkle.

 

Here is my tek elite, it's a 4x54watt. my combination is 2 ATI blue +'s, 1 ATI aquablue special and 1 KZ fiji purple...
first picture is just the 2 blue +'s.. the second is the blue special and the fiji purple.. and the last is all 4.
