    Updated the order of the lights - subtle difference, well worth it

    I've updated my first set of pictures on the previous page to include 2in10's suggestion, so people can see everything side by side.

    Here's the latest (changed about 45 minutes ago, so all the corals aren't as out as they usually are):

    ATI Blue Plus, ATI Aquablue Special, ATI Purple Plus, ATI Blue Plus

    The pic is a bit fuzzy, but I was trying more to capture the "essence" of the lighting than the critters in the tank. I should also note that I changed the white-balance on my HTC Thunderbolt to the "Cloudy" setting, which seems to represent the true color better in this case.

    As of right now, this is my favorite setup (thanks, 2in10 :2thumbsup ). What I'm noticing is that the tank is not as "dark," but I'm still getting the near-neon look on the corals. Also, in my particular case, moving the Blue Plus to the back helps some of my zoanthids pop a bit more, and may have even convinced a troublesome sebae (poor thing was bleached) anemone to stay put.

    I'm really digging this light setup, but "the boss" hasn't seen it yet. Once she comes downstairs, we will find out if I am still in "experimenting" mode. ;D
