T5 Bulb Combinations w/ Pictures

Do you think this combo will work and how different is it from my current setup?

 

Also BRS has the 39W lights listed as 36inches but reefgeeks has them as 34inches. Anyone know why the discrepancy?

 

Your combination is very good and will most likely look bluer than your current one.

Don't worry about listed length differences. Some places list actual length and others nominal length. The bulbs will fit your fixture just fine.

 

I only did use one purple+, along with two blue+ and one aquablue, and no matter how we position the bulbs it all looks the same

 

I find it looks bluer with the blue+ on the front and back because they affect the tint the most from those positions. The tank looked a little darker/purple with the purple+ in position two and lighter with AS in position two.

 

This is my 20g quarantine tank. I'm using a Current Sundial fixture (4x24w T5HO) with 2 ATI Blue+, 1 ATI Purple+, and 1 Geissman 6000k Daylight bulb. From back to front:

Blue+
Purple+

I can't get the white balance exactly where I want it on my Canon SX100IS, so it is just slightly bluer (and the purple stands out just a little more) in person.

Here is my ATI Blue Plus, ATI Aquablue Special, some blue bulb, ATI Blue Plus. My purple plus bulb was broke when I got it so I have to reorder one and use an old bulb.
