    What are some good brands of T5 bulbs?
    Also what type of bulbs are good for coral growth? what should I be looking for.

    UVL lights are good T5 bulbs also giesman bulbs are also good I hear. I currently have a 4 bulb system consisting of UVL Aquasun 10,000K
    2 super atinic UVL bulbs along with UVL atinic white,12,000k I like A more blue look though.

    I have used UVL and Aqua Science, I have to say I like the Aqua Science better, the Aqua Science Blue bulbs make the corals flouresce much more so than the UVL Super actinics. I love the color of the Specials, 15,000K

    UVL and Giesemann. ATI makes good bulbs as well.

    I have a mixture of bulbs
    2xUVL super actinics
    1x KZ fiji purple
    1x ATI blue+

    a fellow 3reefer recommended this set up except their version was 2x ati blue+ instead of 2x super actinics..it was TOO blue for me, so i subbed another super actinic for a blue+

    and let me tell you. the colors in my tank have never looked better!!
