I recently got a larger tank, coming from a nano, and i was not able to get LED's because of simply the price for them right now

on my nano i was running a boostled par30 bulb with 2 blue, 1 light blue, 1 cool white, 1 white..

However, when i moved my corals to the new tank with the t5's...needless to say, im disappointed..

im looking to get some opinions on good combo of bulbs for a 36" 4x54watt odyssea t5 fixture

its running stock i believe 10k's and aticnics.
im looking to get close to some of the coloring i was getting from my led fixture because i have some pink / purple corals that basically look brown now because they arent getting the right spectrum.

    any help is appreciated.

was thinking maybe a mixture of all the ATI bulbs?

    1 ATI blue plus
    1 ATI aqua blue special
    1 ATI purple plus
    1 ATI coral plus

    ??
what kind of look / color range will this give me?

dont want a giant blue beam of light though haha so maybe need a white in there?

That will work, I believe you will get better color with a CP replacing the ABS IME.

I missed the Purple Plus being in there. I would replace it with a Blue Plus. My light order is CP, BP, CP, BP. It gives a blue look but not deep blue. BP, CP, BP, CP gives a deeper blue look.

Here is a shot of my tank.

hmm ok im really undecided here haha, i like the look of that tank, yours is very nice, but might be a little blue for my taste, plus i have some florescent pinks in some of my corals that i would like to see come out, im not sure without a purple plus or the true acticnic that it would happen. that was why i was thinking of a full spectrum of bulbs

The Coral Plus is a combination of all of ATI's bulbs according to them. The Blue Plus is 60% actinic and 40% bulb. Your fluorescent colors will not suffer.

ok ya i see that now, sounds good on that part, do you by chance have a picture of the tank with part of the room showing as well? to see what the lights look like vs the room, just dont want the tank being a big beam of bright blue light..not really a fan.

No I do not. It is noticeable but not crazy blue or beam like though.

Matching the bulbs to what you like is always a challenge. Good luck and I believe you will be quite happy.
