T5 Combo

hi all as u all prob no ive been trying to figure out what combo to go with,

this is what i have come up with any suggestions on input would be welcome thanks

3 x ATI Blue Plus
1 x ATI 12k Aquablue
1 x GE 6500k Daylight
1 x KZ Fiji Purple

Looks good to me, it's really up to personal preference.

 

what sort of colour do u think this would give off in my tank plus im after growth eventually for corals

ok was looking up on another forum on combos an this is what i found cool hey
this is the look ive been after

4 X ATI Aquablue Specials (12K)
2 X Giesemann Actinic Plus

I personally don't like the color of anything <= 10k for daylights. I am looking forward to replacing my 10's with something higher on the scale.

 

This is what I am thinking.....and it's just by looking at the spectrums. No personal experience.

2x Giesemann Actinic Plus
2x Giesemann 11000K Aqua Blue Plus
1x Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple
1x ATI Blue Plus

Your first combo would probably be pretty good, but I might drop that 6500k bulb out and put 1 more ati aquablue in its place.

My recommendation is to buy a few extra bulbs, and play with the combos to see what you like, and what the corals like.

I would run as many ati blue+ as you can since they put out a ton of par,a nd give a nice blue hue. The ati aquable gets really good PAR, but is too white on its own. having 1more b+ than aquablue will gett eh blue look I LIKE in it. but I like that look, and you might think it is too blue. Hard to say, and pics won't show the truth, you need to let your eyes tell you. PAR tests can help make your decision, but ultimately you will be looking at your tank more than anyone but your fish.
