    It all depends on your preference! I have had both and I like metal halide better. You can keep all types of corals, there is a nice shimmer effect, and it's very bright. Check into that site I gave you and just research both types of lighting :)

    i would get the nova out of the two i have a 24 inch sundial and dont like it also it is underdriven with mid powerfactor ballast

    I had the extreme pro. I believe you would need to cut holes in the hood for ventilation. the difference appears (between the 2) is extreme pro is 6 bulbs the sundial is 4 w/ moons and timer. I would personelly opt for the 6 bulb extreme pro. the moons are nice (i have them now) but having 2 more 54 watt bulbs would be a better choice JMO
