    Hello fellow reefers,

I have a T5 fixture that currently attaches to the top of my tank and I want to suspend it above my tank BUT I do not want to hang it from my ceiling. Anyone know of some arms that attach to my stand that I can use? I have found some on marinedepot.com but hitting the $100 mark. Seems like a simple idea that should have a cheaper price tag. Anyone know of any others??

    Thanks for your help!

    D.

You could make them out of wood from Lowe's or Home Depot. You might find some good metal tubing also.

yeah thats what someone else suggested but I would like the look. I want something clean. I have spent too much time trying to have a nice looking setup to start making a stand out of 2x4's ya know. Thanks for your reply though!

I haven't seen many around but the price seems to be close to what I have seen. Check in Wal-Mart to see if they have something that might work. You might be able to come up with something from stand lamps.

Yeah I agree. There are arms for the Fluval tanks that might be sold separately. How about fancy plant hangers or shelving supports.

That would be a good idea. Stores that are in your niche would be good places to look for solutions also.
