I have a six bulb T5HO on my 75 which is 3" shorter than your tank. With all six bulbs none of which were pure actinics, I bleached most corals in the tank. I think part of it was due to using a 6500K bulb. I also had a 12 hour dawn/dusk photo period and the daylights was 10 hours. I cut back to 4 bulbs and took 2 hours of each photo period and the colors are coming back nicely. I have since added one pure actinic bulb. I would suggest that you use no more than 5 or 6 full PAR producing bulbs and the rest pure actinic. Do not go any lower than a 1200K bulb for your daylights also.

if your tank was a 90 gallon would you use the 8 bulb with good combo of lights or stay with your 6?
