T5 Light Advice and Question

I am looking to buying this t5 setup this week:

Current USA 48" Nova Extreme Pro 6x54w T5 Aquarium New - eBay (item 350130327985 end time Dec-23-08 17:05:45 PST)


Now it doesn't come with lunar lights. Should I care that it doesn't?

Also, my tank is a 72 gallon bow front that is 18 inches in depth with about 3 inches of sand at the bottom so only about 15 inches to the real bottom. Could going for a 8 bulb fixture be overkill for someone only interested in zoo's and other soft corals?

 

Nice fixture. Plan for the future, buy the 8 bulb and take 2 out - plus you'll have moonlights

that is a great idea and i dont know about you lfs but mine sells luner tubes that fit right in

 

My LFS sells transmogrifiers that eliminate the use of lunar bulbs and T5 / MH fixtures altogether. It's great, reduces the electric bill, and also saved me lots of money on my car insurance.
