At the moment my tank os a FOWLR, i have 8x39watt t5, 2 bulbs can be turned on by 1 switch + 4switches, i have 2 actinics in there and six whites, the tank is 20 inch deep.

Now the thing is i have no clue what or which light combination to use, i know the blues should come on a hour before and after the white come on and off, but for the above what would you suggest, 2 white 2 blue or 4 or 6 white 2 blue,

I have 2 damsels & a midas blenny, + inverts, no anemones or coral yet it's a fairly new setup..

    Thank you in advance.

normally the blue has a deeper penetrating spectrum, but most of the people i know use
what ever work best for them, as soon as you get some corals sps, softies and polyps
you should be able to determine what work best for you, just by watching closely their
behavior, when your lights go out change bulb around for the best setup, you should be able to tell what they like the most

Look around for the brand of bulbs called URI's best bulbs on the market Bar none true state of the art. Get the actinic whites and super actinic and run them in a 50/50 mix and alternate the bulbs from back to front . If you can't find any P/M me we'll get them to you .
