T5 Reflectors Which One?

Getting ready to setup my T5's for my new tank. Wondered what reflectors are the preferred? Thanks in advance for any information.

Thought I read somewhere there was a new reflector, but can't find where I read it. Currently have a 2 bulb setup running Ice Cap. Going to add 6 more bulbs.

 

How big is your tank and what are the dimensions?

 

36x36x27H My plan is to run 1 Ice Cap 600 to Daylights and couple of workhorse ballast for actinics.

 

I just want to make sure I am following you correctly, do you already have lights, but just want to add reflectors? Or are you looking to get another complete T5 set up to add to what you already have?

 

I have one pair of lights running as actinics off of the Ice Cap ballast. So I need to get six more lights and reflectors and another ballast to run just the actinics. The Ice Cap will be running the daylight bulbs since it will be over driven them. Once I get them setup I'll decide on if i want to add anymore.

 

how many lamps do you want to run and what size. a work horse 7 can run four 54 watt lamps. For reflectors id use ice cap SLR reflectors.

 

Plan trying 8 - 39 watt lamps and running separate ballast for the actinics.

 

Ardo, gimme a shout and we'll get you reflectors. CA is making their own reflectors (from germany) now and John will sell them to me CHEAP!
