Wow, That really is some setup. I was wondering if I could just use T5's and it sure looks like it.

The 80w bulbs are the 60" bulbs.

Geek, yep, i know. but I have been thinking of changing my ballast so I can run 80 watt bulbs on my 48"
I am very curious as to the bulb configuration he is using...The color and clarity is pristine.

    Love it!

The more people that get into doing this...the less harvesting and damage we will see on our reefs.

(also the more competition in the "frag" field, the less cost for all of us reef keepers!)

From looks of posts on forum just this AM, looks like this is happening already - ;)
