T5's (Ebay)-read it ALL, there will be a quiz!

Bought what I assume are the same 48" lights had them for a year. With a few extra dollars and couple of mods on sockets I have found them to be every bit as good as the 200 dollar 24" teks that I bought. Not as pretty but just as effective.

 

That was one of the first T5 ceiling fixtures that did not sell here in the before being deported else where. I bet that fixture was made about 1987 or so ? If it lights the bulbs it as good as any . As for reflectors if you went with the UVL bulbs they have a internal reflector far more efficient then any clip on reflector would ever be. Maybe Gieseman and G.E will catch up one day ?

 

That is a nice fixture, I wouldnt want a blue one though just cause it'd stick out like a sore thumb on top of my tank

 

Yes a little tacky thats why it was a limited edition They brought that line out 2 yrs ago they did not sell so it was ended lst yr . they offered them to dealers for cheap to unload them . We did not get any of them we sold 2 sets and after a bit the customers both realized a metallic Blue fixture hanging from the ceiling did not match much in the room we had them painted flat black and clear coated the customer paid for it 4ft long bright shiny blue lamp that was bright as day in the room you had to look

 

Would look great in a nightclub

 

Yes and hang a little mirrored Disco ball under it heck hang several and be sure it is seen

Its not that good of a deal for a discontinued item more like 320.00 would be a better price.

 

. . and open its collar and hang several gold chains from it. ..and maybe some patent leather shoes. ..white leisure suit. . .
