I like the color, I actually need to replace and want an even bluer look. I think I am going to try Aqua Science 15,000K and the 22,000K, two of each. I like the UVL bulbs, just want to try something different. When I first replaced the bulbs, I could almost immediately see a difference in color and growth.

    I've Got a New ONE!!!!

I currently am running a 25gallon FO tank, I have the hagen glo 24" setup on there with an actinic and a white(sry can't recall the specs) is this enough light? for stuff like softies and what not? what am i limited to?

also i am soon going to be upgrading to a 55 gallon, going to have 4x39W lighting in the hood ( at least i think thats what the 36" bulbs are) would this lighting system limit my range of corals i could have?

please any info would be great!!!

Never seen that one before, says reflector so it's not individual reflectors or individually contoured reflector even. Also, I have never heard of a 700+ bulb but i've only been into the T5s for a little while now.

Personally I'd go with the Nova extreme 4 x 39 with individual contoured reflector if I was on a budget and it's $100 less that the Auaticlife one there. Although it doesn't have moonlights or built in timer. But will produce more light. If you wanted the LEDs and timers the Current Sundial T5 has them and is 259. Current doesn't have great bulbs so it's not all that impressive off the start but you aren't trying to keep SPS yet so It will work for softies and LPS. You can upgrade the bulbs later and even keep some of the easier sps under it.

For the same price as that aquaticlife one you could get the Nova extreme pro 6 x 39w and keep anything under it. That what I'm running on my 46 and am most impressed with it (after I changed the bulbs)

Current USA Nova Extreme T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 4X39 Watt, 36 inch

    36 inch Current USA SunDial T5 HO 4x39W w/ Timers & LED

Current USA Nova Extreme Pro T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 6X39 Watt, 36 inch

I was originally thinking the Extreme Pro but the Dr. says it will be over kill for my breeder tank. He also urged me to to stay away from the Extreme. He recommended the Tek, but it will cost me over $400 for that set up. The LED's seem like a nice feature, but I could care less about the timers being built in considering I allready have timers.
