Hi all. I have been wanting a dusk/dawn, moonlight, effect on my tank for a while now. I had an old freshwater T8 fixture laying around and found a Coralife Actinic bulb for $17 yesterday.

So I bit the bullet and decided to give it a try.

I didn't want this for any other purpose than my own visual pleasure. I didn't want to break the bank on an expensive T5 set up or LED's. I like the look.

My question is can anyone see any possible negative effects to using this? The bulb will come on at 6pm-1am (double as a moon light as it's not bright) then 7am-9am.
