Go buy one of the small little bags of salt from Big Al's, its like 10 bucks.

Regarding the table salt- Even though the majority of marine water is made of of sodium and chloride ions, I would imagine that there is a major lack of alkalinity. With 0 alkalinity, the pH is unsustainable, and your fish die. I would also be concerned about the "iodized" aspect of table salt and just how much is actually in there.

Regardless, why would you risk the cost of your livestock on just to save 10 bucks on a small package of marine aquarium salt while your waiting for your shipment to arrive?
