I sure can not address the lighting, no clue on your type of lighting.

Maintain the big 3 (calcium, alk and mg) as well as all other basic parameter.
I have two tabling acropora and they prefer the most intense lighting to table other wise they start to grow vertical.

Oh, can I have an image please?

the care advice is so mixed it gets confusing. I read a lot of it while looking for a RP frag.
I've read so much about tabling corals on forums and in articles that I had to set up a study for myself.

I have 4 frags of 2 species in my aquarium. 2 red planet and 2 others that I can't remember the common name of at this moment.

I place one of each in different areas of light and flow in my aquarium.

Both of the red planet frags grow about equally and have the same polyp extension. The one that is in the brightest light still shows the green base but it is considerably lighter in color than the other which is attached mid level and slightly shaded.

The other two tablers are attached in kind of the same fashion. One is on top of the rock work and in high flow. The other in low flow and at the edge of the lighting.
This one shows better PE and growth while the one in the high flow/light shows better color.

    That's cool.

If you want you can get a photobucket account and then copy the img code off your image and paste it into your thread. The accounts are free.

Just curious because I have been seeing a lot of what is called a tabling millepora on the market that look a lot like Red Planets.

My avatar is a RP, the base is an emerald green. Unfortunately I can not view the image you posted.
