So this is my dry run of my aquascape, i marked out with painters tape the size of my 25g tank and went from there, let me know what you think. I have one more peice of rock to go in, the seeding peice.

Any suggestions or input would be great!!

I don't know about that one really smooth piece sticking up in the middle, other then that I like it.

Are you going to use some sort of reef epoxy/glue to hold those rocks together? It looks like that design will be tough to make "landslide" proof.

Also - I really LOVE the open spaces you are creating. But it is a little too symmetrical IMO. Maybe make one of the "cavities" that are mirroring each other now a little larger and the other a little smaller. You have the three pieces of "branch" or "Tonga" rock all symmetrical too. Also - the branch rocks are sticking up a little high. If you are eventually going to do SPS or any other branching type corals - your base rock "Tonga Branches" are going to detract from the focus of the corals.

The overall idea of lots of open space is GREAT!!! I am not a fan of tanks that are stacked against the back wall - I do not have anything against those who scape that way - I am just saying I prefer what you have done - more open space!

sostoudt ~ I was thinking that i'd replace that smooth one with whatever i get
    as the "seeding rock"

M-Ocean man ~ I see what your saying with the symmetry, i shall try to fix, and yes i'll
definently be using epoxy! any suggestions on what type?

I use the Oatley 2-part putty stick stuff from Lowes.

Yea, that smooth piece looks like it is giving us the finger!

Um, you do know that it wont hold water like that. you need some glass and silicone to complete it! :)
