take mangrove plants from the wild?

    i know of a place that has mangrove plants in the wild, would this hurt your system if i were to take one of these mangroves and put it into my refugium?

    i have 13 of them in my fuge, just be careful not to let there roots get under your silicone as they can make your tank leak.

    In Florida they are protected plus they don't do well if you remove one that's already taken root. However the propagules are fair game and plenty.
