I just went and checked my friends aquarium and the power heads were blowing out alot of bubbles. All the inhabitants looked ok (no random panicky movements) 2 clowns, a damsel, and shrimp. I cleaned the protein skimmer and the water inlet to the rear of the tank which was pretty algaed up. After all of this everything seemed to be working ok. Water level was sufficient and I added a little to make sure (it was his approved water pre mixed).

So the question is should I check anything else. i am going back in AM to make sure all is well.

    Thank You

sounds like you got it figured out. water top-off clean filters and skimmer. feed fish a little bit. anything else should be fine until owner comes back.

so just to clarify, did you add saltwater to his tank to bring the water level up from evaporation?
