Well I've been getting answers here for probably a year, but I never got around to introducing myself! I love the site, and always get a lot of good answers here.

I've had fish tanks ever since I started living by myself. Started off freshwater with Mollies and just broke down my African cichlid tank that was getting boring and giving me lots of babies... exciting at first, but after raising a lot of babies, and only making a couple of bucks on them, I sold them and broke the tank down. I have a Green Spotted Puffer tank that has been interesting as he started out fresh, and now I've got him to full salt. He was my first experience with brackish/saltwater, and led to me setting up a 55 saltwater FOWLR tank. I've got a pair of clowns, some chromis, and a Fiji Foxface.

I wanted bigger, and well, I've got it now. I'm starting into a 220 gallon reef tank, that I'm really excited about. It's been a lot of work, and it's still just an empty tank lol. Again, this site is my place for answers, and taking on a project this big, I need a lot of them. I'm pretty sure I'm going to loose my mind on the question of to drill or not to drill!

I can't say I ever thought I'd spend so much time and money on fish, but even though my friends think I'm crazy, it's always worth it.

While I'm just getting started into an actual reef system, I've gotten a lot of experience with my Green Spotted Puffer. I've had to do some crazy stuff with him... to include sedation and a beak trimming, so yeah, hopefully I can be of some help too.

    Hello from Ohio!

Welcome!! This is a very rewarding and expensive hobby. I am completely addicted to reef keeping and it is always on my mind! I would love to upgrade to something over 100 gallons but its just not in the cards. Good luck look forward to seeing your build.
