The ai nano should be plenty for your tank. You will need to mount it higher than the included arm allows, so you might want to consider if your situation will slow hanging first.

sorry cosmo but i have to ask, you accused AZdesertrat in another thread of working for a company on here. But yet this is like the third time ive seen you recomend this site reefwerks, and they arent even a sponser on here. Ive seen someone join and post with that name but didnt look they were an actual sponsor. I'm curious why you keep recomending only that site, and not any of the other great sites out there or who are sponsors here and give amazing service to people on 3reef.

Ai nano light is good. But if you wait the Phoenix that's supposed to be coming out soon is 2 ai nanos put together. I think that light would be amazing over your tank.

I think i decided on the AI nano due to the low price. Can someone give me a link to a good hanging kit please. Also is the nano just as customizable as the big ai? Will there surely be NO darkspots in the tank? I have an rsm 130d, and it is a cube. Does anyone have expreiance with the nano?

I could see that if you only followed this one you'd think that! but I've posted good stuff on many threads about rapidled and reefledlights, and a few others i've talked too! I recommed what i know most about and thats jonathan at reefwerks if you want a custom build! But if you're doing your own build i def recommend rapidled to people as they also had great customer service! Sorry they're not a sponsor, but I don't think we should only be able to recommend sponsors!

The nano does have dimming on board so its just as good as the sol, if not better. The nano utilizes the XML chip in the centre giving it some serious par, from what I've seen in stores stock the nano has come out somewhat recently. I saw in another site someone with a maxspect 60w where they drilled an arm from the wall so it wouldnt add to their rimless tank. I thought it looked fantastic and you can make it match your wall color so it's barelynoticeable for more hanging options.

OK thnaks for all of the information and help, everyone! I did some research and looked at threads of a lot of RSMs that upgraded lighting and removed the hood. I dont really like the look of the hood removed and I think it takes away from the tnak. So I have now decided to look at ecoxotics line of products. I am thinking I could put a few RGB modules inside the already cooled hood. How many would I need? Which of ecoxotics line is dimable? And would they give me enough PAR?
I am still open to ideas, but I would like these questions answered.
    Thanks, everybody!
