Well I got everything soldered up and wired this evening. Excuse the pics, they are crappy phone pics and they are kinda random. Anyways, I havent had the leds up past 50% yet and they are ridiculously bright. I still need to glue the optics on and set the current on the drivers.

Thanks. I'm sure yours will turn out good, I'm thinking about adding 2 cool whites to the cool white circuit, but I think the 36 kit is going to be plenty for a 65g.

Congrats on the huge progress! Put it over the tank already! Youd like WW, huh? Im gonna have to re-plan the LED color mixture after I read about the first impression of the NWs..
(BTW, my LED rebuild is gonna be put off because Im getting iPhone 4S..)

Typhoon works pretty good. I haven't really messed with the auto timer and ramping yet, just been using it in manual mode. It can only do all 4 channels at the same intensity instead of letting me manually set each channel independently, which is kinda a bumer. Mite have to rewrite some code.

Ahh come on, an apple product? Do yourself a favor and get an android phone ;) But anyways, I haven't got the light over the tank and messed with it yet, but I feel like the NWs aren't warm enough. I wish I would've went with warm whites, or maybe went with 9nw and 9cw. Either way it still looks very nice the way it is, can't wait to get it over the tank.

I might just add 12 WW and two kinds of 12 UVs (6 420nm and 6 395-405nm) to the existing 12 CW and 12 RB.

What are you talking about? Apple for life! (Ive been using the first gen DROID for 2 years.)

I had a first gen droid and it was awesome. Didn't like the droid 2, got the droid 3 and LOVE it. 5 row keyboard.
