Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Highfin Perchlet

Before I start, I have kept the fish I have in my 75g now for more than a few months with no deaths, well almost, two of my chromis killed one of their friends. I think I have enough knowledge to keep the fish but, questions keep coming up. Three anthias in a 75g and I have never odered any fish online, so i'm a little scared. Also, my tank has only been up a year. I am a little woried that it is not est. enough yet.

    Thanks.

i dont see any reason to talk you out of buying it. lol. great looking fish, and im sure it will work well in your tank. but as said, might limit any other bottom dwellers you may want to add.

I can't speak about that species of fish, but I've ordered from liveaquaria and had no problems.

I have one of those fish. I love him! But, he is an anthias, so I'm not sure how your current anthias residents would react - I'm thinking not too well.

Thanks reefers. I have no anthias in my tank now, so no issues their. The only fish I am concerned about is my scooter blenny. I will think it over tomorow.

Oh okay, I read your initial post as saying you have 3 anthias. Sorry, I was confused!

But yes, I have that fish and he is very easy to care for and he is as cute as can be! He isn't super active, but he comes round to eat and hangs out every now and then where I can see him. He will limit your future purchases of bottom dwellers, as they can be a bit aggressive towards other bottom dwellers.

I have one also, they're rather timid but feed well on frozen mysis or anything meaty.Easy fish to keep, mine usually just perches on the rockwork watching whatever is going on.

It's not really a bottom feeder, darts out to snag food from the water column.
