Tampa Bay LR - "The Package"

Anyone purchased "The Package" from these guys? Seems expensive. Is it worth it?

I skimmed over a few of their pages. I wasn't impressed by the level of knowledge. They seem to have an attitude that smacks of "there's one way to do it, and it's our way."

I'm of the opinion that the best way to enter any discipline in life is to surround yourself by those who are not only knowledgable and willing to share information with you, but most importantly don't have the potential for ulterior motives. That would take a vendor out of the equasion. (not knocking vendors in any way--we have some great sponsors here at 3Reef) Lastly, I feel that the best conclusions are drawn only after asking as many people as possible, deciding which of these folks you're going to trust, and then distilling that good advice down before taking what YOU feel is the best direction.

If it were me, I'd stick around these forums and ask questions. If the majority of people say, "Buy The Package!", then there you go. (But they won't.)

The only "package" I'd even consider buying is not for sale, and I already have it. It's my wife!

 

Never even heard of it/them. IMHO any live rock/live sand is not worth it Get yourself one little piece of LR from an established tank (or LFS if not available) and use base/dry for everything else.
