Lol, always something happening, this time as the title suggests my yellow tang is eating away at my feather dusters tubing, its got to the point where the worm is now exposed from the side, any ideas why hes doing it and how maybe to prevent it ?

If you're that worried about it, move another rock right in front of the feather duster's tube, so the tang can't get at it.

It normally shouldn't be doing that. Is there algae on the FD's tube?
Try tying down some broccoli elsewhere in the tank to keep the tang occupied with something else.

No Algae on the tube at all, have tried the nori seaweed which the hermits and tang love, it still does it when its all gone...

Try raw broccoli. They will have to work at it a lot more, cheaper than nori, and a heck of a lot better for them.

My yellow tang does the same thing. He LOVES tube worm tubing. I had to put the tubes within the rock to keep it out of his reach. Yum, Yum.
