    So i have a question.
I added a third tang to my tank today. I know its a lot. currently have a powder blue and a purple tang, 2 domino damsels and a yellow tail, tank is 120 gallons. tons of rock work to hide in. Well since i put him in the powder blue and the dominos have been giving him a serious butt kicking. the powder blue doesnt mind him if he stays in his corner for now, but the damsels keep pecking at him. am i fighting a losing battle and my hopes of this fish becoming friends a no go? or will it take some time for him to be allowed in?

What type of tang? And also PBT are buttholes when you add anything in after them.

try lights out for a day, then watch close when they come back on, Damsels might never get over it.

i have a pbt and have to agree with reefbruh they dont like anything to be added after them. it took about 3 or 4 days for my lemonpeel that i had and my pbt to get along. they finally co-existed but had their bouts every now and then.

it was an orange shoulder tang, i purchased the pbt first my bad, i added the purple to the tank and he showed no hostility, they like each other, but now when i added the orange shoulder he is showing aggression

Damsels are a pain all around. One of the reasons I never got one. My bicolored angel gave my yellow tang a hard time for a couple of days when I first got it, now they are best if friends.

Damsels are devil little fish. once established especialy if they are a pair, a diminutive 2" fish will take on a 10" tang. mean little SUM b*tches

yes damsels are hellish but i love how cool multiple domino's look together. woke up this morning and they've eased up on the aggressive side. There allowing him his own space freely now.

those fish are very closely related. that is the reason for the agression.

but it turns out it was the smaller damsel not the tang which was doing it. very wierd watching a 1 inch damsel beat up a 3-4 inch orange shoulder tang.
