oh, my apologies iw as under the impression it was solely for algae riddance, most tangs will fit in a 75 just some youll have to upgrade after a while, a sailfin would be nice, and as always a yellow tang

Well, i have 3 tangs in my 70 gallon reef and they are perfect together. I know everyone is going to smash me and tell me it is well over loaded but that is their opinion. I have a purple, blue, and yellow. They all graze on the algae all day long! Very pretty and have a ton of personality. My blue tang is always out looking for people to show off his colors to. My yellow is very shy and doesn't want to do with anything except food. My purple is the middle child and is the normal one of the batch. Just loves life. haha Well, i all started out with putting 3 tangs in at the same time and seemed to pick on eachother for about a week then could really care less. I would go for lots of color, personality, healthy, and fat! :p

Wow, so this thread got a bit off track...

Anyhow, for a 75gal, I'd only consider a tang from the bristletooth genus (Ctenochaetus), as they do not get as large and will ultimately be the only tang suitable for a 75gal.

I am not going to tell people what not to do; it is their tank. I just would no suggest it, personally.
