Some fish do stay small if they are in a smallish tank. (4 foot) I have had a Reagl-Hippo Tang in my 72g for 2 years, got it the size of a 1/2 dollar coin and now it's maybe 2-1/2" along with a Flame-Tomini tang. I know that the Hippo will eventually out grow the tank, but not for quite awhile. Now a 29g cube is a bit restrictive on the swim space for any tang IMO.

no I totally agree, if its a baby now, fine, but once it gets to even 2-3 inches its gotta go out of respect for the fish.
