I have a couple tangs in my 135 now.
One is a scopas and he is about 4'' and the other is a powder blue and he is about the same size.

The scopas was always a bully until I added the powder blue. The powder blue now pushes the scopas around when he needs to and others as well.

My question is can I or do you think I should add a Kole Tang to the mix? Or are there any other tangs you recommend? Or should I just keep it at these two in here?

    Thanks!

kole tangs are beautiful...many people would steer clear of them especially with the pbt...with that size tank I personally think you would be ok after the initial fight for ranking....good luck would love to see your tank

I think the kole would be fine with the scopas....I would be more concerned about the PBT at this point. They are pretty aggressive to many new tankmates and some people would say that they should be the last fish added. I think a purple tang might be able to hold their own....

I had 3 tangs in my 135 at one time. You have to feed them A LOT! IMO it is pushing it to have 3 tangs in one tank, but if you do it you must provide algea sheets daily. I placed 2 to 3 algea sheets a day on clips and 2-3 pieces of romaine lettuce every day for mine to keep them fed. They can starve rather quickly as they are constant grazers

With Tangs, a large tank is the best way of maintaining these beautiful fish since they require alot of room for swimming and foraging for food as is their natural behavior out on the reefs.
Keeping Tangs together can sometimes be frustrating at best since aggression is commonly illustrated by them. Purchasing Tangs as juvenilles and together is ideal, however, if this isn't possible at the time, it is crucial that you purchase Tangs of different body style(shape) and different family as well. If you have a Scopas Tang then you are not going to want a Yellow, Sailfin, Purple or Black Tang(Zebrasoma).
Also, some species of Tangs demonstrate aggressive behavior more so than others.
Unfortunately their isn't any way of knowing for sure or being guaranteed that any Tang will be a suitable counterpart to other Tangs. Each has its own personality and environmental conditions such as size of Tank, other tankmates, amount of liverock for caves and hidding places etc.

A kole might do ok, With a tank your size, I would suggest a Naso Tang, When I added mine there was the least amount of bullying of all the fish added. However Naso's get HUGE.. Darn downfall.

I kept a Powder brown, a purple and a tomini all in the same tank. the brown was teh boss he was added after teh purple but before the tomini. they fought for a week when teh tomini was added but after that, each kept to himself and behaved. this was all in a 75 with a max of 5" on the fish.

I wouldn't risk it with an already established PB tang.
