Picked up the coral beauty today, been in the tank for 6 hours now, at first the yellow tang had a bit of a scuff with him, but all he does now when it swims past is swim backward, backing up to him? calmed down a lot though,

I know i have copeods in my tank i see them on my glass, and amphipods in the rock work, my tank's little over 6 months old, not getting one yet but when i do i will try and get one that eats frozen foods....

Be very careful. If the tang is backing up at it, that's not a good thing. A tang's real danger zone is its back end (spines near tail), not its mouth. Keep an eye on them. They may just have to set the ground rules with each other, then everything will be cool.

Also this will work when adding new fish take out the tang move a few things around add your new fish then re add the tang it will establish new territory and think it’s in a new tank (yea there that dum) Dory is realy a good example.

Thank you Just make sure your fish have places to hide most people dont know tangs are mean fish. They can hang with puffers, triggers , lions & eals.

Dude, it'll be cool. They just need to establish themselves. You did it right. The CB is supposed to go in last anyway. Just wait it out. All is well.

I know everyone else has already said it, but for further confirmation...I kept a coral beauty and yellow tang together and experienced no problems. :)
