have you tried only offering the nori for a couple weeks along with the tanks regular food for the other animals. if they are hungry enough they probably will eat it. then they will get used to it.

Their Main diet is a mix of mysis, brine, and marine formula 2 frozen cubes--I only feed iceburg after "dinner". answering your question--No I have only left the Nori in there for 24 hrs--But then it gets all slimy and not even 1 bite out of it. Then they look at me all pitiful and I give in

I also do feed julian sprungs purple seaweed everyother day and feed a mix of many other frozen foods that i soak with garlic and ocean nutrion pellets. I have a rotation of foods that i feed. I pay alot of money for my fish so i try to take care of them i am going to get broccoli and get nori this week and feed them the rotation of them the off days of the main diet.

I have sushi nori, I try to feed it to my tang but he seems not to care for it. They love my hair algae though.

I have tried putting sushi nori in the tank, I dont have a clip, but i just put it between my magnetic glass cleaner. They always seem afraid of it, and never touch it.
If I dont take it out within a day, it breaks up and ends up all over the tank, or it is really slimy like someone said earlier.

Im hoping that my purple tang is getting enough veggies through my hair algae, he nips at it all day.
I also just bought a new type of frozen food, its not Rods, but it has mysis, and then some veggies in it along with spirulina- dont know if I spelled that right.
All my fish, and shrimp seem to love that.

I alternate daily with what I feed...one day it is romaine lettuce, next day is nori and the third day is Julian Sprung purple algea sheets.'

My main food is RODS, but I have made my own mush for them. So I also alternate foods..one feeding RODS, next mush, next flakes, next microcrabs and algea flakes. Everyonce in a while I throw it a little brine and mysis! I dont feed "food" daily so at times they might get something more then once...but I try to switch it up. I have selco on the non-rods food

Needless to say I dont have picky fish!
