Tangs eating Xenia?

    My hippo has a hiding spot in the rocks- when startled he races to this spot and slides sideways into this hole like a runner sliding into third base!

    I made the mistake of putting some zoas near his hole. He pecked at them and would have torn them apart if I left them there. He managed to peck at them enough that it caused a "landslide" so I had to move them.

    That being said, I've never actually seen him go after corals that weren't threatening to him.

    From experience, I've watched underfed grazers(my foxface and y. tang) peck at zoas, yellow polyps and all sorts of things. Are you regularly feeding seaweed nori, brocolli, romaine lettuce? And I'll check your other thread, I think this one is related?
