i have a yellow tang, purple tang, blue hippo tang, and sailfin tang in my 180 gallon reef tank, all are about 3 inches. I was thinking about adding a larger naso tang around 6 inches.. and an achilles tang about 4 inches... do you think that they would all survive. I have had the other four tangs for about a month now. thanks.

ya, tangs are definatelly my favorites. i thought a larger naso could protect itself, and a slightly larger achilles since they are more agressive. the four i have now seem to get along well though,

That sounds like WAY too many tangs for that tank. I would say the four you have is the max I would try in there. They may be fine in there at their current size, but when they reach full size you will be very short on space and may run into aggression problems.

Tangs are definitely the most active and interesting of reef fish IMO. I just wish there was some kind of dwarf tang that would fit in my 30g.

I would not try it. They would most likely be fine for awhile but they will get way too big.
