tangs in a 180

    how fast do tangs grow being that they are well fed and healthy

    I would not do the Achilles, they require a lot of room when they grow up, the people I've known keeping them have 8' long tanks in the 300 gallon range. They are also difficult shippers so unless you are prepared to buy a couple (after one, or two, or three die), or you have a good LFS that will QT/acclimate and accept the risk of it dying I would skip it, personally.

    I would only go with 4 of the "medium" (7-9" adult size) sized tangs in a 180 long term. If you want a naso it will be fine in a 180 for a couple years, but after it gets around a foot or so it really should go into an 8' tank.
