So I've been in the sw hobby for close to a year now and have learned a lot. Due to marine velvet (me not quarantining new livestock...) and losing almost all my fish but my pair of clowns, I'm making a new stock list for my 55. I've been apart of several reef threads on the net and have also contributed my experiences to them all. I've heard several successful stories of keeping a tang in a 55 and some bad stories of keeping one in a 55. I myself would like to try and keep one in my 55 gallon reef. I keep my rockscape right in the middle of the tank, allowing for hiding spaces and front and back distance for swimming. I would really like to keep a yellow tang or possibly a kole tang, or tomini tang in my aquarium. Obviously if they do get to large I would find it a new home. The biggest tang I'm considering in is a yellow tang. Please leave me with some feedback and comments to allow me to make my decision. For all you owners who have gone though this in keeping one in a 55 please leave me with your experiences. Both the good and the bad. I really appreciate it!

The Kole or one of the small bristletooth tangs would be good bets.
