I know my tank isn't very large but can I keep tangs until they become larger? i have alot of swimming room as I only plan on a mini reef. I really love blue tangs and yellow tangs. I only want one of each.

    NO

I really wouldn't recommend any Tangs in a 55G. As for 2 I would be Strongly against it.

IMO a 75G tank is the minimum tank for some types of tangs, others need much bigger. and in a 75G I would only ever put 1 tang in

You really don't want to go through the trouble of upgrading to bigger tank because of the fishes grew bigger. It will be a matter of a few months and it will put stress on you and your fishes.
