It seems like there are more new people, including me, than seasoned vets in this hobby. With so much weight put on having a mature tank, it makes me wonder how we can know that when most, if not all, of our tanks are under 10 years old.

    Here's the question:

How old is your tank? Feel free to give specifics in text also if you would like.

My thinking on this is that most seasoned owners are older and not online communities as much as us younger folk. Not to mention, after 10 years of keeping a SW tank, you pretty much have everything figured out to keep you from looking around as much.

Mine is 18 Months old. Kinda, 13 months in my 45 transferred to my 150.

Current 100G reef system is 6 years old this month but the two reefs I sold to finance this one were 13 and 16 years old.
