a nice new front without scratches

now some images of the tank with the rock work back in place
it was green and dirty when it came out , 6 hours later it looked brand new

full tank , and then left and right - electrics not all sorted at this point

after dark, corals moved back to their new / old home

coral placement possibly temporary at this stage, its hard to remember exactly how big they are when fully expanded , so it may be a few days of moving them about to recreate the harmony

pictures taken this morning and went to office to get the memory card adaptor - as you can see, many pieces seem unaware of what went on
and in fact only the large leather finger failed to open today, but I can see it is about to shed skin so Im not worried

    thanks for your patience

Nice! I'm sure that was quite a job, and you would have never finished without your son's "help." ;)

Of all those coral, the finger leather is probably the most resilient. It will come back.
Good job. No sand this time around?

thank you, and yes he has been claiming the assist with some friends who came to see it today.

Thanks Bogie, yep I figure 2 - 3 days and Ill find out if its to close to tank walls or neighbours

Sand - got a bag of 1.5 mm Argonite today, and will rinse and add, next weekend, only going for about 1cm depth to take the glare of the base and make it look more natural

so are you staying bb in this tank?

nice gaps for fish, but im kinda worried a rock slide may crack your bottom

edit: nm i see you said you got sand.

You could paint the tank's bottom white from below (if your stand is open to the bottom of the tank). That would help with reflecting light back into the tank.

I dont rock slide anymore Sostoudt , I gave that up so I could focus on reef keeping LOL

No Im adding sand - just did not want the old sand

Rocks are very secure, it took me a few attempts to stack them and made sure none are stacked on pivot points only

No its on a full cabinet , and I want my yellow wrasse back in there, now the fireball is in the next tank

feng shui - we can have 3 fish, we can have 5 fish, we can have 7 or more fish - we cant have only 4 fish or only 6 fish as both these numbers are considered unlucky (the Chinese word for 4 is pronounced almost the same as the word for death so thats why 4 is unlucky , Im not sure why 6 is unlucky though)

so with the fireball in the tank, with 2 clowns and 2 YTBS I was fine - 5 fish , but when I failed to put the fireball back in - the Mother In law reminded me 4 fish was a no - no and Yellow is being recalled into this tank

so sand bed is going back , but just enough to provide a bed for the Bananna
