So here i am new to the hobby and just picked up my 4th tank (i blame 3reef for my new addiction!!!)

Its a 90 gal with a fluval 303 canister, hope its a good filter. But my ? Its been sitting for awhile and has a white film around the top. Ive scrubbed and scrubbed without using soap and was wondering how to get rid of it.

    Thanks for any input

I would only use a canister filter if you plan on cleaning it all the time. If not it will get dirty and cause nitrates!
