Yup, i always test 2-3 times and i do use the check solution they provide in the sailfert test kits, i know also when i tested my water b/c previously ive got readings of 16dkh and brought a sample to the lfs and same thing on his test kits, so i know this batch has been on the high side quite a bit, ive been letting it drop naturally so i can start dosing vodka, and getting back on track, this just set me back to the beginning basically, so im pretty much going to get EVERYTHING I NEED right now instead of buying corals, and get everything steady and back to where it should be and ill slowly add some corals, im also going to cut my photo period back to battle some of the algae in the process of getting what i need,

Things im getting to help stabilize
    *better NO3 test kits (lomatte)
*petter P04 test kits (hanna checker)
    *calcium reactor/set-up
    *getting my mp40 fixed

So im hoping with getting the reactor all set-up and properly dialed in i can make adjustments as i add more corals, but it will help stablize my alk, and such im hoping to some day recover from this but it'll be a little while to get everything back in line and up and running again.
